“That guy from OKCupid” we will call him Lenard opened up a whole new world. I had no idea what I was getting into. Our whole marriage Lenard kept telling me we were poor, living paycheck to paycheck. Which I didn’t understand, as we never had to pick between which bills to pay and we had no debt. Lenard had paid off my student loans from KU and we paid off our credit cards every month, like my Econ Professor at KU told me to do. Lenard and I had very different meanings of what poor was. I didn’t understand why he thought we were poor till well after the divorce. There were a couple of things that worked that way. Like Lenard’s relationship with Tinky. I got that so wrong I couldn’t believe it.
